70% of women murdered as a result of gender violence crimes in Spain are mothers. In many cases, these crimes are committed in the presence of their children.
"Talking walls" tells the harrowing stories of four of these victims families in order to raise awareness in our society about the need to break the silence surrounding violence against women.

These walls were exhibited in one of the most representative places in Madrid, Atocha Train Station.

In order to hear these stories through the walls, a team of engineers has developed a technology of bone conduction that manages to convert electrical impulses into a vibration that is transmitted through our bones to the inner ear, where the sound is perceived. The team have turned the surface of the walls into a surface that will vibrate, allowing us to listen to stories once we press our ear against the wall.
